General Terms
The Frontier Motel will endeavour to provide the accommodation but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings due to insufficient or excessive numbers of requests. All accommodation is subject to availability.
Booking Policy
Payment will be taken at the time of booking to secure the reservation. By providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise The Frontier Motel to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no-show penalties as detailed below.
The liability of The Frontier Motel arising from any cancellations of accommodation bookings by The Frontier Motel is limited to the amount paid for the cancelled booking.
Check in / Out Proceedure
As we have no onsite reception, there is a combination lockbox at the entry to your room containing your door key. The access code to the lockbox will be emailed/texted to you on the day of check-in. The lock box is located at eye level next to the door of your room. If any issues arise, please feel free to contact our reservation team on 1300 75 75 25 and a staff member can meet you to assist.
Upon check out please leave the key somewhere visible in the room or place it back inside the lock box.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Bookings cancelled prior to 48 hours before check-in will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of check-in will attract a 100% cancellation charge for the full booking amount.
No-Show bookings will be charged the full booking amount and is non-refundable.
Third-Party Bookings
Third-party booking websites such as Booking.com, have their own cancellation policies that are generally not within the control of The Frontier Motel. Any required changes for bookings made on these platforms need to be undertaken through the third-party website or third-party customer service helpline. The Frontier Motel staff have very limited control over these external third party websites. We strongly encourage you to book directly with us if you are unsure or will need to modify your booking at all.
Road Closures/ Car troubles
Unfortunately, if a booking must be cancelled on the day due to road closures or car troubles, this falls within the previously stated cancellation policy of 48 hrs of check in and will attract a 100% cancellation charge for the full amount of the stay.
Pets
The Frontier Motel does not permit pets in the motel rooms.
Room Type and Room Number
The room type booked (Queen or Twin) will be guaranteed, however specific room numbers booked through a third-party may be subject to change at the discretion of the Motel. We will however do our best to accommodate any special requests.
No Smoking
For your comfort and the comfort of those around you, please refrain from smoking in or around the building. We would kindly ask that if you are smoking, that you please make your way away from open doors and windows to prevent the smoke from travelling indoors. Unfortunately, if this does occur, a cleaning fee will need to be charged to ensure the safety of the next guest checking in.
Cooking and Excessive Room Damage
We would like to reiterate that for your comfort and the comfort of those around you, please do not smoke in, or around the rooms. In doing so you may be charged a cleaning fee or fire alarm call out fee upwards of $350. Furthermore, in order to maintain the high level of cleanliness we pride ourselves on, if the room is left in an unreasonable state, an excess cleaning fee may be charged. This can include an additional carpet cleaning fee when necessary, as well as a consumables charge when things like donnas, quilts, mattress protectors etc need to be disposed of. Failure to pay this additional fee when contacted initially will result in an invoice being emailed to you for you to pay within 7 days. Failure to pay will unfortunately lead to further action being taken for property damage. This is an unfortunate outcome; however it has been found to be necessary for those who cannot respect and adhere to the motel’s policy’s which have been put in place to ensure the comfort of current and future guests.
Property Left in Rooms
All efforts will be made to return property left in rooms to guests. If property is to be posted, it will be done at the cost to the guest. Alternatively, we are happy to keep items on site for a reasonable amount of time, or a period of time organised between management and guests. If a guest does not respond to messages and calls, the items will be retained for 10 days before being disposed off.
